Nikon 50mm F1.8D!!

i got my nikon 50mm F1.8D lens!! bought it from another clubsnapper from the buy and sell forums. so happy!! my 2nd good deal from the forum!! it's only $140, and still got 8 months warranty!!! ahahaha... originally wanted to ask my bro when go hongkong that time help me buy there. there should be cheaper, but think cheapest also bout $150+, and not sure if got warranty anot.

next on my to-buy list:

1) AF-S VR 70-200mm f/2.8G IF-ED!!! costs $3.8k if buy from nikon....or maybe a

2) AF-S DX 17-55mm f/2.8G IF-ED?? $2.7k...

3) SB-800!! flash unit. $800!! my SB-28 old liao, cannot utilise the i-TTL function of D70, and seems to have some connection problems... think i should bring to nikon service centre to get them to see if there's any problem...

4) AF-S DX VR 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G IF-ED.. full range from 18-200mm. very useful. no need keep changing lens le. hmm..but then again, if i got 70-200mm and 17-55mm, mebbe i dun need this after all... anyway, this one is at $1480!!

Baptism on 16th April!!

i'm getting baptised on the 16th April!!! it's the easter week, Sunday after Good Friday. looking forward to this day for very long.. i invite YOU, yes YOU!! come and witness my baptism!! not very sure at where, but should be at Pasir Ris Park ba... if not then must be East Coast.. u can join my church service that sunday, and after the service there will be bus to bring us to the location. interested pls contact me k?

oh and i revamped the site. the old blogskin cannot fit the pictures that i upload nicely. managed to find this christian blogskin, ehh... forgot where... just search around and found it. simple enough la. lazy to find very nice ones. seriously, who cares rite? dun think many pple frequent my blog anyway. haha... spent a couple of hours editing the template to get what i want... hmm... my html just sucks... all try and error then can get what i want... sighz...

ok...time to go study for my FM quiz tmr liao... still got 8 chapters to go?? wa... God help me!!!

hey if anyone of u knows of friends or relatives getting married and need backup photographer one, let me know k? i'm offering my services as backup wedding photographer!! ehh...main photographer ah... dun think i'm up to standard yet la, so dun wanna ruin other's lifelong happiness... haha...

My first ClubSnap outing...

yeah had my first ClubSnap outing today yesterday. it was FUN! really nice meeting pple with a passion for photography. it's amazing how some of them are so into photography. i'm just such a newbie next to them. hearing their tech talk just makes me feel so ashamed. haha...

anyway, posting a couple of my shots here. comments are welcome too. i'm looking forward to my next outing with the CS pple. but dunno when'll that be. so many things to do, n exams nearing... mebbe after exams when i'll have LOTS n LOTS of time!!!

am I hopeless?

today's FM tutorial was kinda revelationary. i think my tutor has given up hope on me. and the sad thing is that i kinda think i'm really hopeless. haha...

my tutor uses "anyway he also don't care..." to describe me lo. forgot wat was my fren saying to him before that. wa liew... i was abit stunned to hear that lo. wat he sees me as is someone who anything also like dun care lo. wa... wat shd i do?? he give up hope on me liao issit? yala.. it's true his seminar i ALWAYS fall asleep. not to mention i'm always sitting in the front row, and even when he comes in front of me teaching i'll still be sleeping. plus i've never did any of his tutorials. but today i handed in the first 5 tutorials lo!! dun tell him is i copy one ok? and guess wat, he also said i'm on the top of his list of pple who didnt do tutorials. think he really blacklist me in the blackest blacklist liao la.

hai... this carries on and i'm done for. flunked my FM quiz liao. only 52/100!!! ok la can pass already is a miracle. actually is he count wrongly one. duno if is he purposely count wrong one so that i can pass.

think i must keep my laptop away. playing too much games. haiz....
