meta-morphosis!!

meta-morphosis 2005 has ended. if u duno, it's a Christian conference organised by Campus Crusade for Christ. the 3-day 2-night camp/conference has been quite fun, and i've learnt some new stuff during the conferences. hmm... not used to singing praise n worship songs in english. haha.. made some new friends too.

u know, it's great knowing that there are many people out there who shares the same faith in God as i do, and it's really great being able to fellowship together, praise and worship the Lord together.. how i enjoy the fellowship of brothers and sisters in Christ. Praise the Lord!!

during the conference i was made known the impact of the book by Dan Brown, The Da VinCi Code. yeah i've heard of it before, but didnt really know what the book was about. it was during the conference that i found out it actually says that Jesus is just a mere human!! and He married Mary Magdelene and even had a child with her!! Blasphemy!!!! but it's saddening to know that there are fellow Christians out there whose faith in God has wavered due to these false claims, and some have even stopped their walk with God. The movie of the book is coming out in May 2006, and many of us believe that this is a time of trial for us Christians.

Brothers and sisters, let us prepare ourselves for this. our faith in Jesus will be put to test. this is the time when we stand up for what we believe in. this is the opportunity for us to bravely proclaim that Jesus is the Lord and our Saviour!! let us equip ourselves with the Truth of the Word, that we may know how to rebuke the false claims of The Da VinCi Code. i pray that in these times of darkness, may the light of the Truth cast out the evil and darkness, and God's glory and honour be restored...

results are out!!!

the results are out!! OMG!! i got 3 A- and 3 B+!! Praise the Lord!!!! think everyone did ok for the exams. tatz gd ya? so pleasantly surprised at these grades. ahahah... i really thought that i'll screw up. yay...so happy.

next sem coming soon... must jiayou n get even better grades!!

who got lobang for 2nd hand nikon DSLR???

for the x-th time, i'm thinking of getting a DSLR. i'm seriously considering selling off my F100. i guess i won't be using much of film anymore. it's costly, troublesome and... costly. putting it up for auction on eBay. hope can fetch a gd price. i'm praying bout it. May God bless me in this. and then i can go get my DSLR. 2nd-hand also can. in fact i'm hoping of getting a good 2nd-hand lobang. pockets real tight nowadays, with NTU raising the hostel fees... by ALOT!!!

ya so if u guys out there who got lobang for DSLR one, or know pple who got lobang one, pls pls pls let me know k? i'd really appreciate your help. i'll reward u by...helping u come out with a 写真集 or something. LoL.

screwed up BIG time

NTU office of financial planning or whatever the guys are who are raising the rates of the new hall are totally screwed up BIG BIG BIG BIG BIG time. they suck. they suck in their planning. they suck our money.

$300+++ for single room and $200+++ for double room. what's the miscalculation in the first place that make u have to raise the rates by so much? by the fact that u guys made such a BIG miscalculation just makes me think that u guys simply cannot make it. go change a job or something. go back to school and learn your math.

how am i supposed to stay in a hall that costs $200+++ per month? not as if the new rooms are damn good or something. it's so very much smaller for one thing. who cares about the security system. i don't give a damn bout the air con too.

even if i wanna change hall, i duno if i can get a place anot. with my hall points slashed by half, it wouldn't be enough to meet the GCP. oh man.. sooo totally disappointed in NTU. not just this, but the scraping of points system too. they just scraped it without having a concrete system to replace it. what if the new system turns out to be screwed up too? what is gonna happen? now i think the new system will almost definitely be screwed up.

En Youth Camp 2005

youth camp is over. can finally relax now. really praise the Lord for making the camp a success. I guess God really worked within us during the camp. though i was pretty busy throughout the camp, i really enjoyed it. first time in the organising committee, i'm glad i didnt screw up alot.

ohh i'm missing the fun and the people of the camp already. i always have this post-camp withdrawal syndrome. after a really nice and fun camp, i always cant seem to get over it for the next few days. it feels like u dun wanna do anything else but to go back to the camp and have fun. oh well, guess i'm looking forward to next year's youth camp.

thank you all for coming to youth camp. thanks to the whole committee. you guys are great!
