intercessors

many times i feel drained. many times i feel tired. many times i feel that i'm not growing spiritually. many many times, i feel that i'm alone fighting a spiritual war, and seriously, it can be very tiring. the feeling of 孤军作战 puts me down, discourages me. i know i'm not alone, but i can't help feeling that way. i know Jesus is with me. i know my brothers and sisters are with me, but i feel that the support is just.. 精神上的支持. sometimes i feel lonely fighting this spiritual war.

today i had a 感动. i felt a need for spiritual support. i think all Christians need spiritual support. we know we always have to pray for our pastors, so that they are empowered. cell leaders too, but seriously, how many of us are praying for our pastors everyday? much less our cell leaders. i need help, and i'll ask for help. i've asked a few sisters to be my intercessors, to be praying for me. whenever i sense a need spiritually, i'll convey my needs to them so they can pray for me. i believe this will empower me to be stronger in my walk with God, and in my ministries. i'm so glad they agreed. one is praying about it. haha.. i'm so blessed! i have intercessors who are willing to pray for me!! i'll be praying everyday for them too! never will i feel alone fighting this spiritual war again!!

Attention AHS 4K-ians Y2K

There will be a gathering on either the 27th(Fri) or 28th July(Sat), evening, depending on your availability for either date. We'll meet up for dinner, as i can't think of other things to do that everyone will enjoy. Eating is still the only thing that everyone will love, that i can think of. Tentatively, i'm thinking of steamboat, say.. eat ma la huo guo. woots. anyone got recommendation for ma la huo guo?? or anyone got other suggestions on where to dine at? Please let me know ASAP if you got suggestions, if not then i'll decide. and if you're unhappy about anything i decide, well, just too bad. =P

ok those using IE7 may have problems accessing, cos it may just have a warning toolbar at the top for a brief moment, saying something like "click here to allow scripted windows", but never gives you the time to actually do that, and proceeds to run the script, which then redirects you to my blog, for "entering" a null value. ok nvm if you don't understand. just know that microsoft is getting suckier. lol. well anyway, if that happens, you need to go to Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom level... go to the bottom of the list and at the Allow websites to prompt for information using scripted windows, click enable, then OK and OK again to save the settings. alright, it's troublesome, i know, and some probably don't know what i'm talking about. if you fall into this category, just drop me a SMS or just drop me an email.

last minute changes. quality hotel's porridge buffet fully booked. we'll go for ma la steamboat instead. i decided on the one recommended by junfeng. ok.. also cos i dunno any others. a few recommended some steamboat in bugis, but didn't give me sufficient details. so, final decision by me: meet 1730hrs at aljunied MRT, and we'll go to the place junfeng suggested. objections overruled. i know it may be more expensive. i'm just as poor or poorer than any of you. if you really dun wan to come then i also cannot do anything. maybe next time you can organise, and you'll do better. but i'm glad most of you can make it. 16 of you!! wow!! i'll cya all tomorrow!!

ok i'm terribly bored at work. i began surfing sites. and guess what, i realised today is Friday the 13th. are you afraid of this day? if you are, you probably have paraskavedekatriaphobia/paraskevidekatriaphobia. here's what i found from here.

LOL. how interesting where words come from. and while i was on it, i checked out phobialist.com, and here are some of the phobias i thought was most interesting, or caught my attention most. i wonder who came up with those super long and hard to pronounce words... hmmm...

well, there're hundreds of phobias, and probably new ones are created every now and then, but there should only be one that is acceptable, and that is, Zeusophobia!! why, you ask?

fear the LORD, fear His punishment. by fearing His punishment we follow His laws and Word, and that brings wisdom, knowledge, life, wealth, honor.. the blessings go on. But know that He loves us so much, He gave His one and only Son to die for us, that we may have eternal life (John 3:16). in that love, that perfect love, there is no more fears, because we know we are cleansed of our sins, that Jesus has borne our sins and taken the punishment for us. We become children of God through Jesus Christ, and our relationship with Him is that of a child in reverence of his father, respecting, fearing, but yet so much in loving his dad.

I have a 小妹!

my cell gave me a card today. my birthday card. very happy and glad to know that they think i'm a good leader. haha.. but i know i'm still not good enough. there's still too much i can do, but i'm not doing yet. thanks for your encouragements, cell. I love you all!!

oh, and i have a 小妹 today!! she's none other than... *drum roll* 水婷!! my very good sister-in-Christ. always so encouraging to me. now she's my 小妹! hee...
